The view of the ‘planetary parade’ every night this week

Three astronomers have filmed videos diaries for the BBC, showing us what planets are on display above our heads in the UK this week.

The rare phenomenon known as a ‘planetary parade’ has been visible in the sky since Tuesday, but some cloudy skies have obscured the view.

Join Dr Robert Massey, Dr Sheila Kanani, and Prof Catherine Heymans take a look at seven planets – Mars, Jupiter, Uranus, Venus, Neptune, Mercury, and Saturn that are all briefly visible.

Read more about the phenomenon here.
